The most recent inspection (Feb 2026) found no violations at all, and the prior visit in March 2022 was also clean. Older issues from 2024 (low sanitizer concentration, missing thermometer, small gap under a door) were corrected on the spot or were minor, and none reflect ongoing risk today.
No violations noted.
A chemical sanitizer used in a sanitizing solution for a manual or mechanical operation shall be used as follows: Chlorine = 100 ppm if water is 55°F or less Chlorine = 50 ppm if water is 75°F or less Chlorine = 25 ppm if water is 120°F or less A quaternary ammonium compound shall be used in accordance with the manufacturer label. An iodine solution shall be least 12.5 ppm and not more than 25 ppm. ***OBSERVED SANITIZING SOLUTION USED FOR SANITIZING IN 3 COMPARTMENT SINK FOR THE RINSE, WASH, SANITIZE METHOD BELOW THE NECESSARY THRESHOLD FOR QUATERNARY AMMONIUM OF 200PPM. SANITIZER WAS TESTED BY THE PIC AND RECORDED AT 100PPM. SANITIZER WAS CORRECTED BY THE PIC ON-SITE BEFORE THE END OF THE INSPECTION. ENSURE THAT SANITIZERS USED TO SANITIZE SURFACES ARE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE GUIDANCE LISTED ABOVE.
The temperature of the fresh hot water sanitizing rinse as it enters the manifold may not be more than 194°F, or less than: (1) For a stationary rack, single temperature machine, 165°F; or (2) For all other machines, 180°F. AMC 16.60.150(4-501.112.A) *** SANITIZING TEMPERATURE WAS READING BELOW THE REQUIRED TEMPERATURE FOR SANITIZING. UNTIL SANITIZING TEMPERATURE IS CORRECTED IN SANITIZER WASHER SANITIZING IN THE THREE COMPARTMENT SINK IS REQUIRED
Food temperature measuring devices shall be provided and readily accessible for use in ensuring attainment and maintenance of food temperatures as specified under the AMC 16.60.140. AMC 16.60.150(4-302.12) *** NO THERMOMETER WAS AVAILABLE DURING INSPECTION. ENSURE THERMOMETERS ARE AVAILABLE TO ENSURE PROPER COOKING TEMPERATURES.
Outer openings of a food establishment shall be protected against the entry of insects and rodents. AMC 16.60.170(6-202.15) *** OBSERVED OPENING UNDER WEATHER STRIPPING IN -TO THE FOOD FACILITY. ENSURE PROPER WEATHER STRIPPING IS INSTALLED TO PREVENT INSECTS AND RODENTS FROM ENTERING THE FACILITY
During pauses in food preparation or dispensing, food preparation and dispensing utensils shall be stored: - In the food with their handles out; - On a clean surface if it is cleaned/sanitized (frequency) per AMC 16.60.150(4-602.11); - In running water of sufficient velocity to flush particulates to the drain; - In a clean, protected location if only used for non-potentially hazardous foods; or - In a container of water if the water is maintained at a temperature of at least 135°F. AMC 16.60.140(3-304.12) Pathogens can be transferred to food from utensils that have been stored on surfaces which have not been cleaned and sanitized. They may also be passed on by consumers or employees directly, or indirectly from used tableware or food containers. Once a food employee begins to use a utensil such as a ladle, spatula, knife or stem thermometer, that has been previously cleaned and sanitized, it is then considered an in-use utensil. In-use utensils, used on a continuous or intermittent basis during preparation or dispensing, must be cleaned and sanitized on a schedule that precludes the growth of pathogens that may have been introduced onto utensil surfaces. In-use utensils may be safely stored in hot water maintained at 135oF or above during intermittent use because microbial growth is controlled at such temperatures. In-use utensils may not be stored in chemical sanitizer or ice between uses. Ice scoops may be stored handles up in an ice bin except for an ice machine. *** OBSERVED DISPOSABLE COFFEE CUP IN DRY STORAGE CONTAINER AND MEASURING CUP WITH HANDLE DOWN IN DRY STORAGE CONTAINER. ENSURE SCOOPS WITH HANDLES ARE USED AND STORED WITH HANDLES UP TO PREVENT CROSS CONTAMINATION TO DRY STORAGE GOODS.
Concentration of the sanitizing solution shall be accurately determined by using a test kit or other device. AMC 16.60.150(4-501.116) *** NO TEST STRIPS WERE AVAILABLE FOR TESTING BLEACH SANITIZING SOLUTION. INSPECTOR USED OWN TEST STRIPS. THE BLEACH SANITIZING SOLUTION READ OVER 200 PPM. ENSURE TEST STRIPS ARE AVAILABLE FOR TESTING BLEACH SANITIZER SOLUTION.
