Chemical sanitizers and other chemical antimicrobials applied to food-contact surfaces shall meet the requirements specified in 40 CFR 180.940 Tolerance exemptions for active and inert ingredients for use in antimicrobial formulations (food-contact surface sanitizing solutions). AMC 16.60.180(7-204.11) **OBSERVED SANITIZING SOLUTION CHLORINE-BASED MEASURED AT OVER 200PPM. BLEACH SANITIZER WAS REMADE WHILE INSPECTOR WAS PRESENT. NEW SOLUTION MEASURED AT 50-100PPM. FOR CHLORINE-BASED SANITIZING SOLUTIONS THE CORRECT CONCENTRATION IS 50-100PPM. ENSURE CHEMICAL SANITIZING SOLUTION APPLIED TO FOOD CONTACT SURFACES ARE AT THE REQUIRED CONCENTRATION BASED ON THE TYPE OF SOLUTION.
